Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms set the conditions for using the free online tools and related features of EllyTools (ellytools.com, "the site"). By using the site you agree to them.

2. The service

The site offers free tools — image, PDF, video and text converters, calculators, size conversions, a server clock — and blog articles. No account is needed, and the tools run in your browser.

We may add, change or discontinue tools and features without notice.

3. Accuracy of results

We build and test calculations and conversions against published definitions and standards, but we do not guarantee that every result is correct. Size, currency, loan, health and pregnancy results are for reference: before a purchase, contract or medical decision, check the official information from the seller, lender or clinician.

Check converted files before relying on them, and keep your originals.

4. Your obligations

You must not:

• use the tools to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, image rights and privacy
• send excessive automated requests or otherwise disrupt the site
• copy and distribute the site's code, design or content without permission

You are responsible for how you use what the tools produce. Using an image made from someone else's photo commercially, for example, may need the rights holder's permission.

5. Posts (cheer chat and ticketing calendar)

Anyone can read and post in the chat and calendar on the server-time page. Authors are responsible for their posts, and the following may be removed without notice after reports or on the operator's review:

• abuse, harassment, discrimination or hate speech
• advertising, promotion, flooding or spam
• obscene or unlawful content
• real names, phone numbers, addresses or other personal information, yours or anyone else's

6. Intellectual property

Rights in the site's name, logo, design, code and written guides belong to its operator. Rights in the files you put into the tools, and in what you make with them, stay with you; the site never receives or keeps those files.

Fonts and other third-party resources listed on the site, such as in the font library, are governed by their creators' licences. Check the original licence before use.

7. Advertising and external links

The site may show third-party ads, including Google AdSense. Advertisers and external sites are responsible for their own content and for any dealings you have with them.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is provided free of charge and, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using or being unable to use it, except loss caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

Changed terms are posted here with their effective date, and changes that work against users are announced at least 7 days in advance. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Questions about them can be sent through the contact page.
