Shoe Size Converter: Mondopoint, US, UK, EU, JP
Shoe sizing is even more confusing than clothing β every region uses a different scale, and even within US sizing men's and women's numbers are offset. This converter handles all the major systems.
Korean shoe sizing uses Mondopoint β millimeters of foot length (250mm = US Men 7). EU uses Paris Points (1 unit β 6.7mm). US splits men's and women's by ~1.5 sizes. UK is yet another scale. Japan uses cm. Most accurate: measure your foot in cm and convert from there.

Why are men's and women's US sizes different?
Historical convention β women's shoes traditionally ran on a different scale and the offset (~1.5 sizes) became codified. The actual shoes can be the same size; the number is just different.
